SITTING DUCKS

Performance, wearing masks of duck heads made of cardboard, paper mache and paint. Duration: 2 hrs. Location: Sternbrücke, Ilm Park, Weimar. 2018.

This project, a collaboration between Asha Lester and Ahram Chae, was a work created in the unannounced, afternoon-long exhibition in the park: “Wir Sind Auch Enten (We Are Also Ducks)”, by the PANANAS Collective. Photo by Yael Peri.

PERFORMANCE of painting Gouache on wall; 91.5 cm x 61 cm. DURATION: SEVERAL HOURS DAILY FOR LENGTH OF EXHIBITION. LOCATION: TEMPORARY WALL IN KAMINZIMER IN KRONPRINZENPALAIS. 2017.

This performance happened daily during the length of the 3. Berliner Herbstsalon exhibition, where a diagram of a room and shape-based “descriptions” of the artworks displayed within was hand-painted on a temporary wall installed within said room, in the Kronprinzenpalais.
