Puppet Theater
Human-figure-sized kinetic sculptures made of the basic shapes will fill the space of the kiosk and be moved around the space, as a play that follows no direct storyline. These sculptures are in a constant state of motion, forming and deconstructing the letters of the two words “ASHA’S PLACE” according to a shape-based alphabet that corresponds to the English alphabet and can be translated with a key.

For a day, the kiosk transformed into a small puppet theater; the puppets were movable (kinetic) sculptural objects made from papier-mâché. These human-figure-sized kinetic sculptures made of basic shapes filled the space of the kiosk and were moved around the space by the puppeteer, as a play that follows no direct storyline. These sculptures were in a constant state of motion, forming and deconstructing the letters of the two words “ASHA’S PLACE” according to a shape-based alphabet that corresponded to the English alphabet and could be translated with a key. In this event the audience did not physically receive the art object, only the atmosphere and message created by it.
